Use AI video to develop and test clearer stories, not to invent product proof. Start with the buyer's problem, show the real offer accurately, give one next step and measure qualified enquiries or sales—not just views.
Where AI video actually helps
It can speed up storyboards, alternate hooks, captions, voice drafts, cut-downs and versions for different placements. That matters when a Nigerian brand needs to test ideas without organising a full shoot for every single variation. But a real product demo, credible customer proof and accurate price still do heavy lifting. Treat AI as a production assistant, not a witness to results that never happened.
Start with a buyer, not a prompt
Write one sentence: “This is for [buyer] who wants [outcome] but worries about [objection].” A skincare buyer may need to see texture and ingredients; a property buyer needs location and trust; a B2B buyer needs a clear business case. “Create a cinematic masterpiece” is not a strategy. Your customer is not paying the generator's electricity bill.
Make a short script: a recognisable situation, the useful promise, a truthful demonstration or explanation, and one action. If the product must look exact, use actual product footage or photographs. If the service is complex, combine human voice and simple graphics instead of pretending an imaginary office is your team.
Check the parts that can damage trust
Before launch, review every frame for wrong packaging, distorted faces, inaccurate claims, fake testimonials, odd pronunciation and captions that change your terms. Get permission for people, likenesses, music and assets you use. Do not imply a real customer endorsed you when they did not. A polished clip that overpromises can buy expensive complaints.
For Nigerian buyers, make price, delivery area, payment route and the next step easy to find. Use the language your customers use naturally; forced slang will not rescue a confusing offer.

Test for business results, not applause
Start with two distinct hooks for the same offer. Keep the landing page and audience consistent long enough to compare signals: qualified WhatsApp chats, leads, add-to-carts, orders and cost per useful action. If lots of people watch but few enquire, inspect the offer and next step before making ten more videos. If enquiries arrive but do not close, inspect response speed, price expectations and follow-up.
Our ads budget calculator helps frame a test, while our lead-quality guide helps when clicks turn into time-wasting chats. Neither can guarantee sales; use your own margins and conversion data.
When to bring WTB in
Come to us if you need the story, creative production, ad distribution and conversion route to work together. WTB can plan hooks, choose what should be filmed versus AI-assisted, prepare variants, run the campaign and examine what happened after the click. Send the product or service, audience, real proof you can use, budget and deadline. We will recommend a sensible first test, not promise that one viral-looking video will sell out your stock.
See our AI video ads service, then send WTB an AI video ads brief, or start the brief on WhatsApp.
